Books For The Studio

Have you spied that pile of books on the shelf near the litho press whilst in the studio working or during your breaks in printing? Well in fact that is the burgeoning library ,a mixed collection of Imprint magazines,catalogues & a few technical texts too.
Impress Studio has a very small library (if you could call it that) which has been useful as a resource for members however we now would like to build on that by seeking more technical or interesting up to date texts about printmaking or paper related themes in general as well as artist monographs. Jennifer Rogers has kindly sorted & catalogued what was on the shelf & also sourced a list.

The library once established will serve you in providing texts for you to borrow & also texts that are to be only for use in studio .  We envisage a lovely glass secure cabinet to house the collection as well as proper borrowing procedures once established in the new KP studio so that we ensure that the texts remain in good condition and available to all members.
Here is a wish list of texts or other secondhand items also appreciated. If you can lend your support by donating any of these texts you will be making a very important and valuable contribution to the community of Impress. Your name will also be recorded in the book (ex libris- bookplate designed by Jenny Rogers)  as recognition of your gift. Imagine that!
