Impress Gallery Exhibition Vie de Pacific

Prue MacDougall Surveying Aotearoa (Solar Plate Etching) New Zealand

Works by Paula Quintela & David Burrows ,Australia
Nearby this weekend of 31 May & June 1? Why not pop in to view some of the works in the current Impress Printmakers Studio Gallery exhibition Vie de Pacific.  Dynamic prints contributed by artists from countries bordering on the Pacific Ocean including some examples shown here. However you know that the prints look the best when viewed intimately in the gallery space. You have time, as this is a month long show. These photos dont do them justice so you will have to experience all of the works before the show ends. Vie de Pacific, showing until July 31,2014 Impress Printmakers Studio & Gallery, 134, Kedron Park Rd, Wooloowin QLD 4031 ‎

Elisabeth Dupond's 'Embacles II'
Hanging Cathy Money's print

As we rug up for winter & keep busy with our prints for Regenerate remember to step out to one of the upcoming Impress exhibitions. Opening this Friday 20th July is  our international print exchange with Quebec "Water Portraits" at POP Gallery 12 Ipswich Rd Woolloongabba; you can see by these images of the install how good it will be. Also a great opportunity to come out to chat & enjoy the event either on the opening night or during the week while it is showing.
The other show is the Southern Circles exchange with Tasmanian printmakers; a really marvelous array of prints to see in this one so don't miss it.  Visit our new Impress website on www.impress.org.au  for details & have a look at the impress page in its early stages as we still have to flesh it out a bit more. You'll notice a few changes at Camp Hill as our large litho & medium press will soon be relocated to Kedron before they (council) install the balustrade

The exhibition will be shown in Tasmania at Church Studio Franklin and in Queensland at the Impress Studio and Gallery in the refurbished historic tramway sub-station in Kedron Park.

We would like to thank the coordinators, Patricia Zuber from Church Studio Franklin Tasmania:  http://www.churchstudiofranklin.com.au and in Queensland Glenda Orr. The works look spectacular so dont miss it.
